you could talk to HUD, or see if there are any charitable organizations that help.. I believe there are also grants for disabled people to get to help buy a home.. I would go to your public library and look up grants and see what you can find.

Sometimes you can get a funded apartment through state agencies social services.

At this point in time with all of the loan defaults your chances of buying a house or getting a loan form the bank is very slim. Its a fact you need to have a full time job and credit references. You can look into rent to own. Hope this helps :-)

I don’t know what your situation is now but, There is always low rent housing where your utilities are included.

Of course you may already be there and want to be someplace else.
