AAArrr I didn’t get that job.

Why they wanted someone with more knowledge of thier brand standard. I asked what that means and could that not be learnt on the job? they couldn’t define it and said that they have tried that before and it hasn’t worked for them. AAAArrrrrGGGhhh!!!! Just venting. AAAAAArrrrGGGGhhhh. Bloody branded restuarants. (Jumping up and down in frustration)

A company that has a chain of places, such as McDs and what not. This is a company within the financial District of London. Suited booted bods.

No i’m a restauant manager, most companies have thier own floating manager. Agencies deal with waiters and bar staff.

Sorry about that simone. I went for a job interview a few months ago and they pretty much said this to me. “You don’t have the skills we want, the skills you do have are out of date, you are pretty much no use to us. Why should we hire you?” I then said that I was hardworking and determined, which they replied with: “Yes, so are all the other candidates”. I never got the job.

The important thing is not to give up or give in to what the interviewer says. Carry on searching and I’m pretty sure that you will find a place that suits you.
