Please help!

!. I just discovered that on my other laptop on my user, it has been ‘’corrupted'’. what does this mean and how can i log back in. Please help, because i have so much work on there.

If there is another USER PROFILE on there try and log into that and rip as much of your work off as you can before you start messing with the corrupted profile

after that if you have had no luck with getting all your work seek the help of a pro

there are programs that can get data from even formatted drives but that is last resort and there are a few options before that … just be safe in the knowledge that the files should still be there its just access thats a pain at the mo

the best way i can explain it is ,… the whole log on process for your profile is like a sentence. If for instance a virus protection or something else has deleted or moved a word from this sentence the sentence no longer makes sense an so is deemed “corrupt”
crude but thats basically it …..you may never be able to fix the profile but as long as you can get to the work behind it you haven’t lost much if its just the windows profile thats been lost as you can even grab faves and other bits from there location in the documents folder even from other profile’s on the comp.

not a clue possible virus deletion of a needed file it could be any number of things.
