In ninety-nine percent of those articles the truth has been stretched to help push the impeachment. There is no proof that any of those things are true. George Bush will not be impeached unless those things have been proven and they haven’t.

It doesn’t seem like you are here for help or are helping anyone… good day.

Impeachment is the constitutional process of determining whether the charges are true or not.

How exactly did you decide that THIS was true?! :)

I notice your avatar says Peace, yet you are defending George Bush?

I don’t know anyone who doesn’t want peace but if having it means we stop defending ourselves and the things we believe in, then it isn’t worth it. I am very openminded and I don’t like to argue and I also realize that everyone has an opinion. I respect yours but I highly disagree.

If we hated everyone we disagreed with we would hate everyone period.

No one said anything about hate. Some people are concerned about our country and the principles upon which it was founded. Others aren’t concerned.

You don’t know whether I’ve helped anyone or not, or why I am here.

Look, presidents come and go, the US is forever. Four years, eight years, it doesn’t matter, they all bring something different. Some bring good things and some bring bad things. Politics is strictly based on the lesser of evils. There will never be a president that will make everyone happy, if you don’t like him/her then voice it, protest, do whatever you want but just realize that not everyone is going to agree with you and that’s just something you will have to get used to.

Interesting, inflamatory. I haven’t heard a peep about this Florie. Maybe it is moot at this point…? Bad President or not, it seems to smack of political opportunism by the good congressman. That said, it would be brilliant to see this play out! Just my opine.

It’s not moot, it must be done. Without impeaching him, we’re saying that from now on any president can do whatever he likes, disobeying all laws. What Bush has done, dismantling our Constitution, is very very serious for the future of our country. Now is the time to correct it. Kucinich is courageous, not an opportunist! He has nothing to gain from this.

There’s no happy medium with you is there? What anonymous wrote is vulgar and uncalled for. Just grow up already and except the fact that you are being irrational… if you can’t stand our president and the things he is doing then go somewhere else and then I’m sure you’d be happy to be part of the USA. Do you not realize how lucky you are? Do you not see that you are free and have more opportunity in this world than many others? Be thankful for what you have and just get over it.

Must you scold me?? What anonymous wrote is not vulgar, it is his opinion politely expressed. Must you call me names (”irrational”)?? Must you speak to me as if I were a child because I am concerned about the future (and present) of our country?

The “rightness” of impeachment, well, I agree with you florie, there is a case to be made for at least exploring it further. But we both know that it will never get to senate, rendering this a symbolic gesture. Then again, symbolic gestures have a way of resonating with the general public.
