Please add to your post what the error message says: just write out everything that’s on the little screen than popped up. Without knowing which error is occurring, nobody can help you.

could not locate a valid definitions file. go to programs options page that i cant find and click update definitions to download a definitions file this error come up eery time I turn computer on and I havent been able to fix for a week

Your missing a part of the program that boots at startup. You need to find out which program its referring to. Once you find the program you need to reinstall that program to get the information that it needs to remove the error. Hope this helps :-)
