Hey!

You’ll have to uninstall version 3 and then open another browser, such as Internet Explorer. If you visit this link:

http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozil…

You can download earlier versions, such as the 2.0.0.6 and install that instead. Hopefully it’ll fix your problem!

I’ve been using 3.0, and haven’t had any problems.

I’m still using 1.5, because I hate version 2. :)

In Windows XP’s ‘Add or Remove Programs’ the uninstall is under ‘Mozilla Firefox (3.0)’. Not sure where it would be on other operating systems such as Vista, though. If you can’t find that try looking for the uninstaller manually. It’ll be hiding in your system drive (it might not be C:\ for you, just wherever your program files folder is kept)

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\uninstall\

Run the file called ‘helper’.

And I’m going to guess you’ll want the US version of Firefox from looking at your profile so here’s a better link for you:

http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozil…

Right Click on the Firefox Setup 2.0.0.6.exe and Save it to your desktop or preferred download folder and install from there.

Boo! It removed all my backslashes from the c:Program Files part! But hopefully you can see what I meant. For someone on Help.com I’m certainly not good at keeping things clear and concise ;)
