UGLY - A story : I Will always try to be UGLY
This is the story of an ugly stray cat. Please read it.
That’s a beautiful story. So sad, and tragic. It’s wonderful. I love it.

I’ve felt like that cat more then I like to share, luckily “UGLY” has eight more lives .

I agree. It totally reminds me of so many of the students I work with, because so many of them have suffered unbearable abuse and people often misunderstand them.
oh wow made me cry :’S the picture of that cat above is so beautiful too - its so small I just want to scoop it up and let it suck on my buttons or earrings. Poor litle kitten
The story is sad, yet it has a happy ending in that it died being happy and that some one did care about it.
There are few people in the world that care about others and the creatures around them. This website though is a contadiction to that statement, there are so many people here that care.
I am proud to be a very small part of it.

That adds to the inside scars, instead of heal them.
awww…i want to meet Ugly..i’d cuddle him - to another death probably - but he’ll still have the love he deserves…

is that him? he looks cute to me, i love cats and probably would have helped him (even if thats not him). i cant believe people would be so cruel! its nice hearing that he was still feeling the affection as he was dying. its good that you were there. very touching story.

Oh my. That is incredibly sad. What a wonderful personality Ugly had. It’s so sad how cruel people are and teach their kids the same. Thank you for at least being there for him as he was dying. Well, written story. I’m literally bawling.
God how sad; all the cruelty he was dealt and he still loved and accepted people. Animals are so mistreadted all over the world, it’s just heartbreaking. If we could all be a little kinder….

As to the picture of the kitten in the picture - I hope someone helps that baby and takes care of him. No kitten should be in that condition…people walking by and ignoring too. Sigh.

Why didn’t you do anything to help this cat during his sad little life? I hope when you find a stray animal from now on, you’ll do whatever you can to help. At least get them spayed or neutered so they won’t make any more kittens sentenced to the same sad and cruel lives of a stray.
Please people, spay and neuter your animals and help strays.

What’s the deal with the kitten in the pic? It’s dirty, hurt, oh so sad looking. Please tell me someone didn’t only take the pic and then left the kitten just like someone passing it by.

This story is a truly, truly sad story. I cried the first time I read it, and I still do every time I read it. I just can’t stop thinking about the story and Ugly. It makes me want to buy a little cat that looks exactly like Ugly and bring it home.

I saw it in a thread of things making you baaaaw..lie having compassion with something else..but this was the top of everything..
I sat in front of my desk and cried..even now as I read it 5 minutes ago again I only have to think about poor Ugly begging for love and I cant stop tears running down my face..

I read the story today and slowly started to cry because i love cats and cant stand the thought a kitten is treated like that … some hours later i read it again … and startet to cry again

Each time I read this story I start to cry, I just can’t help it. That poor little guy begged so desperately for a little bit of love but all what we got was thrown stones and curses.
If this story is true (I do not know if it is fictional or not) and my deepest respect goes to the person finally showing him what he missed so bitterly throughout his entire life, just a bit of love.

Yes, what about the little injured kitten on the picture, it gives me almost nightmares thinking about that it was just ignored, as injured and lonely as it was.
