Where were you?

First, you must know who mom and dad are?
If you find that out, here is a good site. www.genealogy.com

A, thought the poster was adopted?
Yes, but the person may not know who the parents are…may have been adopted as a baby…
She was adopted. The ones that adopted are still her parents. Its true Baby-girl….you need to talk about this to your adopted parents. Realize, it may or may not be possible to reach your biological parents. Even if it is…there is no guarantee that they will want to meet you. I don’t say this to be mean. Just realistic. There are infinite possibilities as to why you were given up for adoption. Its easy to fantasize about your bio-mom searching for you, but keep your mind open to whatever may come. Your adopted parents are there for you. Adopted or Biological, it doesnt change the fact that they love you and call you daughter.

hey my adopted parents dont really like to talk about my parents see was taken away from my family at the age of four i been in foster care for four year without knowing much about my parent i cant see or hear from them because the goverment doesnt know where they are the only reason i want to know about my parents is that i want to know what is in my blood if i am full american or part irish you know what i mean
someone MUST have some paperwork on you…what is your age…..
Shes 13. Makes a big difference. Baby Girl, From the sounds of your profile, you’ve got a good life, a great one in fact. You started off on a rough path, but things got better for you. Many don’t get the blessings you have in your life right now. Always remember to be thankful for what you have! (With Thanksgiving coming up, it might be a good idea to share that with your family that night at dinner…just a side note though.) In time you will be able to learn more about your bio-parents. But for now, try not to let it get you down.
Does that sound fair to you for now?
I just found out I was adopted after 37 years. I dont even know where to begin to find out who my blood mother and father are. I guess Im still in shock over this. No wonder I am so different from my parents.
It’s a direct link to a website I just started about 5 minuts ago. I stumbled into a way to find out ones biological parents, worked for me!
