i’m trying.

i’m trying really hard to get over this eating caca by myself.
it’s been freaking me out because i’ve felt like i’ve been gaining so much weight. i havent been eating all that much, but it’s more than i usually do. i’m trying to do it slowly. and i’ve been eating REALLY healthy food.

…i FELT like i’ve been gaining so much weight.
i got weighed at this health store two days ago and i weigh 101.6 and have 14% body fat.
either i was way under 100 a week ago, or my mind is f*ed up.
i remember weighing myself at 102.4 and i felt so light, and so thin. i’m LESS than that i cant find anything to wear because i feel like a cow.

i guess i’m not necesarily asking for help, but rather expressing my frustrations.
this is so awful. i wish it could just all dissapear.

101 pounds is extremely light, so weightwise it doesn’t sound like your troubles are huge!

If you are unhappy with the amount/what kinds of food you’ve been consuming, the your go girl!! It’s so nice to see somebody trying to change their behaviour in such a positive manner! It’s no doubt inspirational for many.

Keep it up!

halfpint we have a friend here at help who has gone through an amazing recovery from an eating disorder. She is a true inspiration. I have invited her to the post and I am hoping you too can become friends. She is one of the coolest people here.

the only thing that will make you feel beautiful is losing that extra pound. try to diet, and when you reach a better wight, look in the mirror and ask yourself if your happy. If your not, you know what the problem is…

Dieting is not the solution for halfpint!

I think you can get over it. Are you having any other help?

It is hard, and there are times when you do not want to do it at all. But in a way you can use it to comfort yourself because you know that your recovery is completely in your control. It isn’t going to go spiralling way away like things did when you had an eating disorder.

Sure, there would have been times when you weren’t eating and you lost weight but that wasn’t all that great really, was it? It didn’t feel that great to go to bed knowing you hadn’t eaten, because it wasn’t enough. Did it really feel that great to have te empty dead-inside feeling? What about when you had no energy? Was it all that fun?
And it wouldn’t all have been not-eating, would it. Remember the binges? Emotional eating, that may be but we all know that binges happen commonly with starvation. Too much control to no control at all in a second.

This is what you are leaving behind you. You can cope with things, as long as you let yourself. The recovery is in your control - no matter how crap you feel you can make yourself eat breakfast. Remember how you couldn’t make yourself stop eating on a binge? That’s not going to happen anymore. It’s all up to you.

You’re on your way to getting your life back. That is awesome.

101 is very light! GREAT job with oyur recovery. I completely understand…I went through the same thing. Please don’t feel bad about yourself! Maybe you are just gaining muscle, or it’s all water weight! Fruits and veggies contain quite a bit of water, right? And if you’ve gained for no reason, who cares? It’s not going to keep on going like that if you’re eating so healthily. Be happy! You are beautiful! And now you’re more healthy!
