not real sure if i should get my arm checked.

i had a soccer tournament and a couple nights ago i noticed an odd looking bruise on my shoulder. its been slowly moving down my arm and is really dark. it is about at my elbow now and my forearm is beginning to hurt. i’ve been a little dizzy but i think that might just be allergies. does that sound like anything bad or do bruises spread that much?

It may possible be the blood (bruise) moving with gravity down your arm.

well, some bruises could be suspect for bad blood clots if they persist, and yours is moving.
I’d always get a bruise checked out if it lasts for more than a week and a half.

what about circulation? i your arm falling asleep alot?

it helps.
keep an eye on it, if it persists, see a physician.
what happens in clot forming bruises is the blood vessels are broken, but the loose blood coagulates under your skin, and in the vessel itself.
if your body doesn’t break it up, it could break off into the bloodstream and lodge itself in important capillaries or cause a stroke.
but if it starts to fade soon, I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
