school help: Hi, my name is Belinda… I have never really asked for help - Help.com

Hi, my name is Belinda…

I have never really asked for help like this before i am very indpendent and have been fully cable of getting back up when i get knocked down. I have always been able to take care of myself and my boyfriend and i have alawys been on the other end helping others. Recently myself and my boyfriend have been trying to get back home to Colorado, we have been chasing his son across the united states from Hawaii. He was kid napped by his mother when he was 2. We have done everything we can and now we are stuck in Las Vegas.
Got kicked out off school because the teacher decided to make an example of me. i lost my job due to trying to put school first. His son was in Virgina so we moved there, then when we got there they moved to Colorado. Between Registering my trucks, gas Paying for multiple traffic tickets, and multiple court dates. Leaving my ex-husband who got me arrested and put in jail when we went to florida to my storage. He destroyed my credit, and i have not been able to pay my school loans.

I have never let anyone hold me down or hold me back but this was out of my control…
i tried to re-enlist in the marine corps but my staff sargent held my package, so i lost my bolt space.
Got kicked out off school because the teacher decided to make an example of me and i had twelve weeks to graduate, and no matter what i tried they would not let my to continue my education.I lost to really good my jobs due to trying to put school first. Which has still left me at ground zero career wise.

I also just had two surgeries having to have removed 3 cysts. and I have been out of work because those complications, has completely drained us physically, mental. My boyfriend has had his hands full just trying to keep me health and help me recover. The last surgery has put me out of work for another month.

We have been trying to push the last leg of this trip, im out of ideas.
We have both been trying to keep each other positive. I have not been able to apply for any loans, because of my credit. We just need 5000 to get us back on our feet and who ever can help I will repay you in full. My boyfriend just wants to be a father to his son, and i just want to go back to school so that i can create more places that can help other people that need help in the same way, with instructers that care.

We are both trust worth, and very hardworkers.
I don’t know what else to do if u have any suggestions or can help in anyway please email me at
i> small>(email removed) /small> /i>

thank you for ur time and consideration.

If you cannot get a loan from the bank, I suggest that you start saving your money then when you have enough you can go back to school. Hope this helps :-)

OK, you didn’t have the resources to chase your bf’s son across an ocean and a continent. Why not let law enforcement and the courts do that? They take cases of parental kidnapping very seriously. In your present situation, the jobs were more important than school–so here was a failure to prioritize properly. I think you’re going to have to “retrench” somewhat (or perform a retrograde maneuver, Marine!), and live with one set of parents until you can both get back on your feet. In the meantime, use the law and use the courts! Let the States track down your bf’s errant gf/wife! You could have hired a “skip tracer” private detective much more cheaply than trying to follow the “kidnapper” yourselves! Also, work on repairing your credit and clearing your good name on any arrest records, e.g., having charges or convictions expunged. Maybe you can join the Marine Corps Reserve, and get paid for drills and annual training. Sounds like you were trying to do some good things, but went about them the wrong way. Was that what got you in trouble in the USMC? There is, as you know, a right way and a wrong way to do things–also an Army way, but that’s the subject for another story! Again, you and your bf need to take a breather, regroup, and use the resources available to you, e.g., the law. You’ll exhaust yourselves trying to chase an ex and his child across the country. Also, suppose the two of you had “found” the kid? By trying to fix the problem “vigilante style,” one or both of you could have ended up in the slammer–and that would have been the end of it! THINK, Marine! Now move out!

You can try your luck at online charities like Digital Charity, people may send donations if your story is convincing enough. More information at http://www.laodn.org/
