Im thinking of setting up in business as a dominatrix but im not sure about what insurance etc i need.

i know this is not an everyday business venture but it is one that i am serious about. I have a few years experience of domination through previous partners and feel that i could be successful in this industry.

Can anyone tell me what sort of things I will need to consider before starting this business. I will have some help with the financial side, like paying tax etc as my mother is an accountant. What I need to know is: will I need insurance for myself or my clients, do I need a licence of any kind, can I work from hotels and my own home etc? And anything else that it is important to consider.

Please dont bother with smutty or unhelpful comments. I want to also make it clear that I will in no way be partaking in prostitution.

know i wont be offering an escort service of any kind. yeah perhaps home isnt a good place, so i was thinking to hold sessions at various hotels etc. the sessions will be one to two hours long so i dont think i will disturb the hotel too much.

what is a business licence? how would i look in to that?

im in the uk where its not illegal. but i want to make 100% sure i have everything covered legally e.g insurance, paying my taxes etc so that there cant be any problems. i want it to be a legit business
