Money help: Hello, I am a widowed mother and have had much difficulty paying my bills because I was left with all the credit card bills etc.. - Help.com

Hello, I am a widowed mother and have had much difficulty paying my bills because I was left with all the credit card bills etc..

My home is about to go into foreclosure. I have a daughter going to college and will need to find a way to pay for that also. I have since gotten a roommate, but I still need to play major catch up with ALL the past due bills so that I can go on. I am in need of at least a $10000 loan. My credit has been going down the tubes and no one will loan me money. I am hoping that there’s someone out there that is willing to help a hard working mother keep it all together with just a little boost. I work a full time job and my roommate is willing to help this process and get me back on my feet.

Hello, I am recently divorced and have had much difficulty paying my bills because I was left with all the credit card bills etc.. I have a daughter going to college and will need to find a way to pay for that also. I have since gotten a roommate, but I still need to play major catch up with ALL the past due bills so that I can go on. I am in need of at least a $5000 loan. more if I could manage it. My credit has been going down the tubes and no one will loan me money. I am hoping that there’s someone out there that is willing to help a hard working mother keep it all together with just a little boost. I think your daughter needs to know what is going on - she can pay her own college a lot of kids do. The main thing is saving your house and since your daughter is leaving that means you can take in another room-mate. Just renegotiate with your lenders and unfortunately you will probably have to take on a weekend job to knock this debt down.

Since you have been widowed the credit card companies will freeze the interest on your debt and arrange for a minimum payment until you are in a better position financially. they cant do this unless you approach them.

You need to prioritise your debts and make sure the house stays safe, even if it means that you and your daughter have to share a room you need that house to start pying for itself - Good luck - Mas

I’ve been waiting forever for the mortgage company to let me know what they’ll do. I’ve asked the credit card companies for help and most did but their minimum payments are still more than I can handle. I’ve been trying to get them all into one bill- thinking that would make it all more manageable

Debt consolidation can be very temptimg but is full of pitfalls. Have you actually consulted one of the government run debt counsellors? I can look up some for you if you tell me your state.

This is all about you gettihg back control and keeping pushing until the repayments are manageable. I know that is probbly the last thing you feel like doing right now but if you seize the opportunity and get some expert (free) advice you will be able to make a plan and work around this time. It wont be forever and you have already did the best thing you are adressing it - not sticking your head in the sand. - Mas

Work part time. You can apply for freelance writing, bookkeeping, software, transcription, online tuition or customer service work at home jobs. These companies do not require any fee and pay well . List of companies(with websites) offering genuine work at home jobs is available at http://www.pcworkathome.net . Many of these companies have been in business for several years

You can also try your luck at online charities like Digital Charity, people may send donations if your story is convincing enough. More information at http://www.laodn.org/
