FEAR FACTOR. Yesterday, at my church, was SiCk! Just thought I’d share. Picture this. two slipnslides crossed and in the middle a hole cut into the ground. in the dirty hole is water, cow tongue, gizzard, turkey legs, ang GOD knows what else..lol So, my youth pastor calls a number, and we slide through the slipnslide covered in red soap towards the pit. Whoever makes it back with something first receives ots for that item (cow tongue=500pts) etc. It was siiicckkk. And smelled, and the slipnslides got all dirty and turned blackish red. Sweet. Rekaru, you already know..for the rest of you…thoguht it’d be a nice story to share..lol

lol, it’s a fun week called fear factor over the summer, after that he explained how we are the body and make up the church not the building. you didnt have to do it if you didn’t want to, but there’s a message afterward and he always relates it to the fun in some way shape or form. =]

yah, it was pretty sick, but it keeps the teens together in fellowship and having fun instead of doing something stupid on their own.

Then have it in a nonreligious group, that’s fine. But in a church! what the hell!

it brings the kids who are already faithful together and haveing fun. what do you want, a religion that keeps teens in a dark roon and sings hymns constantly, no doubt you’d call that brainwashing and come up with another pointless argument for it.

The idea behind the sick stuff: No matter what you do, no matter how twisted you can get, Christ always accepts you. That’s usually the point of most churches when they do that.

nah, it’s just for them to have fun and maybe get into the youth group and then “normally” through teaching and stuff learn about God and form their own opinions.

OK - I’m sure you had a great time - but where is the bit in the bible that says you play with the corpses (or part of) of animals that a man has killed? Where is the respect that if you are hungry you can kill something to eat it but maybe, just maybe, have the decency to humanely dispose of the bits you dont eat. Where is the thanks for the food you have been provided when you are playing with the entrails of the very animals that made your burgers. I’m sorry but the Church is not Jackass or Punk’d, I think your minister isnt only misguided but warped - and I wonder that you need to be ’stimulated’ in this way to have fun. If it were a white supremacist group or Nazi group doing this there would be an outcry. I have a funny feeling you posted this because you know in your heart of hearts that this is some kind of blasphemy. Mas
