Flavor can be good either way, but the texture of oven fries does not appeal to me at all. I vote for the deep frying, since I won’t be eating all the fat…

Oven fries are really yummy if you put enough oil into it and let them be crispy and spice them right. If not, deep fried is probably best.

If you are using the oven:
Blanch them-stick them in boiling water for a couple seconds and take them out. They’ll be a lot crispier when you actually go to bake them
Then get a lot of seasoning in there-vegetable oil, salt, I personally like a lot of paprika.
And bake them till they’re golden.

Oven if you have the time. Also have used bread crumbs, shake and bake or crushed corn flakes for added crunchness or flavor.
Fry if need a quicker method.
