In DESPERATE need of iPod help!

Hey, so I know for a fact that if you break your iPod you can go back to the store and exchange it for a new one or whatever if you have the warranty or something, right? Well, my Nano was STOLEN from me this time! I seem to have all the bad luck with iPods, and it’s not fair! >:P Anyways, I really need to know if I could somehow tell the Apple store and get a new one? Or even, like, half price or SOMETHING.. Cause my dad’s a ruthless cheap who hates me (seriously), so he wont get me another one… PLEASE HELP! I need to know how I can get my Nano avenged… Lol. Thanks.

Last time they let me just exchange my broken iPod… and I know this is a bit different.. (lol), but I just thought there could be a way…. No? Do I actually have to BUY another $212 one? :’(
