I just cant eat!
! My mom says that I’ve got an eating disorder but I dont know. I have made myself sick before after food, but I just find it hard to keep anything down. I know I am underweight but I just cant eat!! and my mom says that she has enough on her plate without me causing her problems, plus my boyfriend left me too and I just dont seem to have a friend that wants to be near me anymore. I’m only in my twenties and I’m scared to death!! I’m starting to want to give up all together and i dont know why everyones so down on me all the time. What am I meant to do??

The second I get something in my stomach I can feel myself getting fat. Help!
Why starve yourself? Just eat. It may just be in your head. When you eat don’t think that it’s going to make you fat, Most of it is vitamins and nutrients that help strengthen your body. Just eat, it’s natural for people to do it, its not like smoking or drugs where no matter what you have bad side effects. Try eating “Light” Things for now so you have energy, etc. For example, eat rice.
Most eating disorders come from an underlying problem. Are you having problems at home? I think what is important right now, is to find someone you can trust and who will support you no matter what.
for some reason at the moment im not eating either. ill have a bowl of cereal in the mornings but thats it…my mams worried….
It doesnt feel so easy to just eat anymore. I do eat stuff but only alittle bit everyday.
That’s good. Start off small and slowly get bigger. When my friend started eating again she started with soup and then added stuff like bread to it afterwards. Just build it up gradually.

2nd hun, I think its time maybe you try and get some help. Maybe you have an eating disorder maybe you dont, I cant tell you that only a doctor can. Look into some eating disoder type groups and talk to your doctor about it. You shoudn’t feel far as soon as you eat somthing, I;m sure your a wonderful and pretty gorl, just because you think your fat dosen;t mean you are. I went through the same thing you did when I was 20 and I know its a bad stahe to be in but you just have to keep pushing forward and telling yourself how pretty you really are which I’m sure your a godess. Sweety try and talk to your doctor and see wat he/she says anf if he/she belives its neccassary theyll say somthing about seeing a profesonal. Dont let anyone or anything get you down. Try and eat some small things hear and there along with your meals and try to keep at the 3 meals a day thing.

Thank you Ashley for what you said. but Im worried that if I go to the doctor its going to end up costing loads and we dont have any health insurance.
And I guess things haven’t been the same since my dad left.
where do you live? do you have to pay to go to the doctors?
having somone you love leave can cause all kinds of effects, the trick is, you coudnt do anything about it, he left because of such and such reason. You coudnt help it, and dont argue with me on this because I know, I lost somone i loved very much and I knwo it can do so much to you. But you coudnt stop him.
Well sence health insurence isnt there… its time you get it. If you wanna be able to eat and be “normal” again you have to see a doctor to make sure your ok, not being able to eat and possible eating and throwing up (being bolimic) can hurt your body in so many diferent ways. Do you work? and if so dosent your job carry insurance? if not..Does your mom work? if her job carries insurence she can have you put on her insurence plan…if not…go to www.gateway.com i think it is…call them and talk tot hem about getting insurance.
Until you can be checked out, keep trying to eat as much as possible and dont think of it as a weight gain thing, think of it as a life change. its not a non-diet its a life change, because it is. thats rlly wat it is.
I live in Albany, NY. I’m in college at the moment so not working. My mom is bound to have cover but Im afraid to ask her and I cant pay by myself. Your right though Luna and I know it wasnt my fault that my dad left. He had cancer and decided to live life to the max without us. He is okay now but still behaves like a teenage boy!! Im confused right now and I dont know what I want. I guess all I want is a little bit of love.

I wasnt eating before. I guess it hasnt helped much. He dumped with anyway and said I was to much like hard work!!
I didnt think so either!! He wasnt all he was cracked up to be so it could be worse. I kinda wanted to break up with him anyway but I find being rejected is quite hard to take even if by someone you want to reject yourself!!

Girl weather he is the reason for u not eating or not you have to realize that there are many differentfish in the sea…I know its hard…Mu husband just left m and I cant eat myself…as soon a I do I feel like just puking ti back yp. Hun dnt be afraid to ask your mom to put you on her insurence plan, she will. Ask her if she can until you get a job and some insurence of your own. She wont turn you down, and if she does then well just think of a different soluton. dont fret, i got your back.

15. Containers of food that list the number of servings as greater than one are lying. Every container includes one serving. Half gallon of ice cream, box of cereal, bottle of soda, bag of chips are all one serving.
The same thing happened to me before when i was having a hard time. I could not eat even if I wanted to. I didnt think It was because I was depressed. I went to the hospital to see if there was anything wrong with me and they did a bunch of tests and didnt find anything. I went from 140 - 120 in just a couple of months. Once I took care of the other problems in my life my appitite just came back on its own.
