hello everybody…

i have a laptop with windos xp , it is working very fine its new HP laptop , but i need to change the os from xp to windows 2000 . when i keep the windows 2000 installation cd , i select boot from cd setup starts but after loadin configuration files it is showing message window that “windows 2000 set up could not find any hard disc attached to this computer ” .
how do i over come this problem . pleses help me , i need to install windows-2000 ??

The drivers needed to make the OS see the hdd and other bios functions do not come with win 2000 had the same problem with my Acer laptop trying to go from vista to XP. You can look and see if there is a work around from HP to fix this problem. Hope this helps :-)
