girl help: What does it mean when a girl doesn’t say anything when you ask her out? - Help.com

What does it mean when a girl doesn’t say anything when you ask her out?

She managed to change the subject. This girl always smiles at me and tells me that she likes my hair. When we talk we have good conversations and great eye contact. I’m thinking she’s just a polite girl and probably is like that with everyone. I think its weird not to reply when someone has asked you a question. Maybe she doesn’t want to hurt my feelings. I would like to know if she has the slightest interest in me, but I don’t want to keep asking her if she’s not. It might seem that I’m buggin’ her too much if I did. I know that she was in a relationship but her and her boyfriend broke up 3 months ago and the stuff that she has to say about him is usually not good.

Does anyone have any advise?

Thanks.

You could try talking to her about it. Which is obviously easier said than done, but you could ask why she brushed off your question.

If someone doesn’t respond to something, it doesn’t mean anything except that they didn’t respond. You can make up any meaning you like, but that is all you.

Sorry, but the truth sucks. She’s not into you.

I don’t think that I’m going to pursue her. She knows that I’m interested and if she needs more time to get over her boyfriend or whatever the case may be then thats ok. I work quite a bit and I know that we can be good friends.

Thanks for the comments.
