I need to ask the guy I like directly for his phone number.

There is this guy I have liked for over 6 months. It wasn’t until recently that I actually conjured up the courage to talk to him. He was nice enough to start talking to me on AIM. Ever since then, we’ve been talking for almost 10 hours a day on AIM whether it’s using our cell phones or computers. But I want to ask him for his number. Though I’m not usually shy , I can hardly breath around him. >. I want to ask him directly for his phone number, but I need to find a cool way to say it. I don’t wanna beat around the bush about asking him, I just wanna go out and say it! Can someone tell me exactly what to say so it sounds cool??

You can just make a false excuse to get offline and say “Hey, my mom is making me get offline right now, but I still want to talk to you. If you want, you can give me a call.”

Are you in school with him? If so, your internet should magically go down for a day and be all “well if you give me our number, I’ll call you”

yup! he knows that very well. I’ve told him how much I like him a few times already, but he’s actually a shy (yet has an outgoing personality) type.
