is it a violation of my student rights if?

?
I made a request to a person direct manager to investigate my student file to see if she viewed it? this person would have no reason to view my file. the manager told the employee that i requested this investigation and the reason. also, i have not had any response from anyone at the school and it has been 2 months. however the employee did let me know that she was made aware of my request. please help

Can also depend on where exactly you live, the laws vary a bit with location.
