Please list any Self-help books that have helped you reach your goals?

The one that has had the biggest impact on me is called Been there, Done That? DO THIS! by author Sam Obitz (www.tao3.com). It has an exercise in it called a TEA form that helps you learn to get rid of your fears that are blocking your progress and helps you reach your goals.

I happen to of done enough extensive research (reading them in bookstores and from my parents collection) to say that at least 97% (all the ones I’ve encountered) of self-help books are completely crap

The wind is my mother by Bear Heart is good. I also liked The four agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz.

Sorry to hear you have had such bad luck telepathic, but not surprising because many of the ones I have read have been disappointments at best :( Makes me appreciate the helpful ones that much more though.

I read this book after the author spoke to my team last Fall about the value of the TEA form in improving athletic performance. He was right, it forces you to live in the moment and helps relieve gameday nerves, but it has helped me more in my everyday life where I struggled with day to day anxiety and I would highly recommend it for either purpose.
