what can you do to not be so nervous on the phone?

someone called with great news and i know ill laugh and be nervous on the phone, and i dont want this guy to think im laughing at him.

Well - If I ever get nervous about something I just ask myself “if i totaly f*** this up - can I actualy get shot for it?” Usualy (hopefuly!) the awnser is no….. Puts things in perspective!

“hang on” (then wait a few seconds)
then come back and say “i have another call, but give me a call later if you want”

haha pointless nothing would help my excitement for this, or his. we both sounded like laughing excited idiotss.
