I have just gotten one of those external hard drives by seagate and I have no idea how to use it.

I have the sims 2, sims 2 pets and sims 2 uiversity, I want to know how i can fully put those on the external hard drive thing and once I get that figured out I’m aloud to go buy the sims 2 night life and sims 2 open for business which i have wanted for ages, how do I install them onto the eternal hard drive? If someone answers this can you please dumb it down for me thanx. Any answers will be much apreciated.

Open, or “explore” your external drive under “my computer”. Minimize that. Go to your C: drive under my computer and find all of the programs you want. Drag their folders into your external drive window. That should do it.

You can put the programs and their folders on the external HDD but they can only be installed and run in the C drive on the pc. The external HDD is mostly used for storage and backup of your system you will not be able to move it to another pc and use the OS. Hope this helps :-)

I don’t want to put the sims 2 on another computer i just want to get it off me computer so i have more space on it but i don’t only want to play it on my computer, and i don’t under stand some of the things that u’s said sorry.
