You make me laugh,
you make me want to cry
Everything seems alright,
until i close my eyes

Then i imagine
what my eyes have not seen
But i know it was done,
was it just out of greed?

Greed for more love,
greed for a touch
I guess that mine
wasn’t good enough

Life does not give you
a second chance
Life does not sit there
and hold your hand

But I gave you that chance,
I was there when you cried
I made you swear,
and still you denied

I should have seen this
from the very start
I could have avoided
this broken heart

Chance after chance,
you never learned
You lost my love
for the fake that you yearned
