A lot of hair salons will wax them for around $12.00 (depending on the salon). Call around and find out. That way, you can get them shaped professionally and they will come out looking right.

I have large eyebrows to & I think it helps when I get them waxed and shaped, then when they start to grow back I pluck them the way they were waxed to try and keep the shape.

I think the best thing to do is to get your eyebrows waxed professionally at a salon. It isn’t cheap but you only need to have it done once because after that you can use tweezers to maintain the shape they created which will vary depending on the rest of your face.

As for your dad, you could try talking to him and explaining why you think it’s important for you to do your eyebrows. It might help if you used an analogy that he could relate to so that you make him see how you feel.

Ultimately, your body is your own property to do with as you please and you should do what makes you feel good about yourself. Don’t let your eyebrows get you down, I bet plenty of guys see you and think you’re gorgeous :)
