i have vista too. it sucks.
but what you have to do is go to the website of the game, and see if they dont have a patch available for download.

if not, just try and right click on the icon or whatever, and run as administrator.

Some games do work properly on Vista. Others don’t. Were you thinking of any particular game?

Stronghold legends but I was mostly just wondering.

Well, if you’re one of the lucky ones, Vista might run fairly good on your computer. I never got my wireless working on Vista… and Fable refused to run more than a couple of minutes at the time, which is ironic, since it’s a Microsoft game.

They should. Course Vista mucks everything else up, might do the same to the games

Oh I forgot to ask. What are the technical specifications for your computer?

As far as I’m concerned, Vista is a beta product. It doesn’t do what it’s supposed to, and it doesn’t do what it’s advertised to do.

Ah ok, so it comes pre-installed with Service Pack 1. That’s good, because that means they’ve most likely fixed the bugs sp1 has had on many systems. For me, sp1 killed my dvd burner… I didn’t have time, patience or will to wait for Microsoft to fix that, so I downgraded to XP myself. Later I switched to Linux, but that’s another story.

Well, make sure it says “Vista” in requirements before going out and buying any new games. I’m not gonna guarantee that Vista is backwards compatible.
