Did you know that if you actually put a common name like “littlenick” people can find you on google?
But you have to put a name that people can actually type, not jibberish or things that don’t make sense. I was googling littlenick and found myself and Soulrising.

Omg lol thats funny. I just typed in littlenick and found your profile. Thats weird to me for some reason
Help.com comes up on a lot of google searches, makes you think that maybe we should all be careful about what we say here, lol.
Did anybody ever see the movie with Steve Martin “The Jerk?” About the time he was so anxiously waiting for the telephone book to see his name in it? He yelled, “I am somebody” when he found his name in it. I feel the same way now!
oh dear. Looks like I’ve been totally unoriginal picking this name. There are zillions of mumsthewords out there .. and I haven’t found me yet!
Lol littlenick you are as adorable as your avatar ;)
Post a replyHe yelled, “I am somebody” when he found his name in it.
sob sob…
I am a nobody.
Mums…google your user name…it will be there and you will feel like somebody…btw we all are somebody. Nobody is nobody.
sob.. I still don’t see me in amongst all the other mumsthewords. Apparently I am a discount voucher for maternity wear… a baby food manufacturer… but no mother goose to be seen.
Your there…you will find yourself..lol
Yep, ive just found myself. And i apparently have a police station named after me in the USA.

Dang #1 hit was “anothernikki”’s help.com profile.
I can’t google my real name. It’s far too common and nothing comes up with the real me in it.
I love littlenick or maybe i just love your cute little avatar lol
I posted about this a while back. http://help.com/post/158517-your-user…
I chose a unique username, but now I think for the sake of privacy it would have been better to choose a common one. With 154,000 mumsthewords out there, someone would have a lot of trouble figuring out which one you are.
Links to our shout trails even come up in search engines.
haha… Dots is far too common to find myself.. But I used to google random people’s names to see what I got. It can be fun!
littlenick, i think you’ve started something here now.
That’s how I found this site, looking for someone and found them in here. I am sure I put that in my reply to ‘how did you find this site?’

So bonnie, does this mean you’re stalking one of us? :)
on behalf of all of us 154,000 mumsthewords… i love you too nick.
Is this you???

No, I was very concerned about someone who told me they wanted to kill themself then dissapeared from another site. I was really concerned.
At least that probably won’t happen with my name, too much stuff out there. But I have seen other users come up when you google their site name. Bit wierd, but yes you are now someone.
Of course Anubis has always been…someone! ;)

Have you tried “King Tut?”
I’m not sure I see the connection Littlenick. Why King Tut? And now I have, there are thousands of links! lol ;)
“I am somebody, I am somebody” *think Steve Martin running around with the telephone in his hands.*
I put Shellfish in, funnily enough I am up to my ears in Googly sea food! lol
It is amazing what can be dine these days.
Entertaining story in relation to this post.
One of my friends was proving this point that the common names we use on the internet can be uses to find out lots of information about a person. He asked each of us for our e-mail addresses and googled the main part of it. Each of our social networking profiles appeared, until we came to the last guy. We found an ad which he posted looking for a girl to date in his area that described himself as “tall, dark and supposedly handsome”. He hasn’t lived it down to this day.
Well, I’m short, fat, ugly with huge body odor. So no high expectations there.
You could have a great future ahead of you in Canadian comedy if South Park has taught me anything then :D
