ok, so i want to lose 2-7 pounds for my cousions wedding in a week.

i don’t care to keep it off, so fad diets are ok. but i recently hurt my ankle and can’t hit the gym, so something with little-no exercise. im not overweight, im pretty average, i just want to look good. (seeing as her first marrige i was in i looked terrible) im about 5′5 and 117 now. help?

Losing 2 pounds in one week is ok, but 7 is a bit much- it can be unhealthy to lose that amount of weight in one week, particularly since you aren’t overweight at all. (In fact, 117 pounds at 5′5′’ could be rather thin). If you really want to lose the weight though, you need to create a calorie deficit. It takes a deficit of 3,500 calories to lose 2 pounds in a week. That’s 500 calories a day. The most healthy way to accomplish that is to cut back your calories by 250 each day, and exercise enough to burn the 250 each day. Even if you can’t work your legs, you can still burn calories by exercising your abs, back & arms, or by swimming vigorously. You can also do simple things like ironing clothes, weeding a garden, fidgeting any time you’re sitting, etc. Good luck. But please remember that you’re probably the one who notices those couple of pounds, and I’m sure there are people who love you any way you are.

cut your meals a little bit then do some push ups and crunches a couple times a day. Losing that little isn’t hard at all.

What you need to do is FOCUS where you want to lose the weight. I had to go down a few dress sizes within a month for my wedding.. becasue the crazy lady had the already skinny dress altered in the waist and made smaller… so.. i had to get my waist smaller and quick. lol.

What i did to target my waist was to exersize several times a day but focus mostly on my midsection, buy a wide stretchy belt that i wore during my exersize and at night, and i got off breads for that month and drank lots and lots of water to help flush things out. I droped inches in my waist before the month was out. i think the belt did the most good. Thats how them women way back when got those tiny waist lines.. they sinched up them girdles! lol. So .. focus on the area you need to lose and just hit it hard. And if you foots hurt.. try water workouts… they’re awesome. And if you cant do water - get on a machine that maybe can focus on the area you want without strain on your foot - or just do floor exersizes on your back and stomach and side.
