Unfortunately, this really isn’t a place to post for help on a transportation issue, it is more of a health/etc site, or technical issues. Try putting an ad in the local papers and see if anyone will help you. Also, maybe contact the hospital and see if they have a courtesy transportation option for people in your position??

If you’re in America, it might cost you just as much in the gas to get there! No seriously though, take the bus- it’s much cheaper. Unless your daughter has some medical equipment that may not fit on the bus. In which case, if you don’t have a friend or relative who can drive you, call the hospital and ask if they operate a shuttle anywhere. (most do).

Hello.. I’m sorry to hear your daughter has been unwell.

Here are some ideas you might like to try:

1. ask the hospital if they have a volunteer or courtesy service that can help you. Be sure to explain the situation to her doctors who may be able to advise you or put you in touch with the right help.

2. check out this site and see if you can find a local Patient and Family Support Group who may be able to help you. www.charitynavigator.org

3. Ask at your local welfare support offices what help is available to you. Your local library is another good place to find help.

4. Sometimes, local churches have volunteers who are willing to drive people to and from appointments. Talk to your local priest or pastor.

Good luck!
