I seriously need some help.
Right after high school I jumped in feet first into college and was planning a career in the professional medical field. Did that for a year, then something caught my eye and I started my own business.
This business went over like gangbusters and I was making money, hand over fist. So, I decided that since I was making more than what a college degree could get me in the field I was pursuing, I dropped out of college. Hindsight’s a *****, I know.
I’m not going to get into the specific details, but long story short, the business collapsed and I was left with alot of debts to take care of.
Fast forward to now… I’m 25, with no college education, and six-figures in debt making monthly payments of around $3000 a month (just to the debts, no living expenses).
I can’t get a good job to pay for these debts because of my lack of education, so I’m really in a catch 22.
Oh, and because of the debts that I’m unable to pay, my credit plummeted and dropped around 250 points so banks won’t lend me anything… not even $5. Trust me on this.
OK, so that’s my financial situation…
I also recently moved to a place (at the time to expand my business), so I don’t know anyone or have any friends. I’m extremely lonely and am usually depressed.
All I want to do is go back to school, but alas, I can’t. I have to work 60 hours a week just to pay my bills and eat raman noodles every night.
By the time my debts are paid off, I’ll be in my middle 40’s. Then, depending on what I’d like to get into, won’t receive my degree until the age of 50.
Who hires 50 year old RECENT college graduates?
I seriously need some help. I’m so **** depressed because I already feel like my life is over and I have nothing to give anyone.
What are your thoughts?
