wow, sorry but this one is over my head, way over…..

how exactly were you “making money” hand over fist in this business you started and then when it “went out”… left you in such debt? Was the debt there from the beginning or something or .. where did it come from? Im not to clear on that.

me and my husband own a business to that we started..but.. we have no debt at all and we are 27 years old. the only debt we had was in the very first year when we baught company vehicles and built the shop ..but.. until the debt was gone.. we couldnt be considerd to be prospering in it. So.. whered your debt come from?

Don’t give up. My uncle decided to change careers when he was in his mid 40s. He went back to school, medical school. He is now around 60 and has his own medical practice.

I’m sorry you are going through such a tough time.

Here are some ideas, though you may have already thought of them :

Consider renting out a room in your place to get some additional income. Alternatively, can you rent a cheaper room elsewhere?

Sell some stuff you really don’t need any more. Every little helps.

Google some tips on household money-saving tips. Trust me, tiny little changes like making sure you eliminate all wasted electricity in the home can really help cut your bills. Saving just a dollar here and a dollar there is crucial in your situation.

Is your place suitable to use as a film set? Do some googling and see if you can sign up for a location agency. They are looking for all sorts of places not just hollywood mansions! I did just that when we were in dire straits and within two weeks my very meagre home was used in an ad for home safety equipment. Since then it’s also featured in a couple of small movies and TV dramas. Each time, they’ve paid me to use my place for a couple of days (I lived in my garage while they did and kept the hotel allowance!)

im really sorry for your situation. i hope u get out of it. u seem like a strong person. keep your head up and dont lose faith.
maybe u cud contact ur family…friends? local church/synagogue/charity? anything might work. tough situations dont last but tough people always do.

Hey buddy, don’t worry, be happy. I am sorry, but YOU got yourself into this, and only YOU can get yourself out. It is DEFINITELY true to me that you are an intelligent person. You have already done what so many people, myself included, cannot do. Start a small business and PROSPER. Like so many others, I would LOVE to know what you were doing, but alas, it seems like it is to be a SECRET business you ran. Anyway, as far as teh debt is concerned, ITS ONLY MONEY. Never let MONEY rule over you. You are far more important than any currency, than any THING. You are the most important “event” of your life. You can overcome and achieve ANYTHING you can put your mind to do. If I can survive almost 12 years of prison and come out being a better person, than YOU can do anything, and conquer any objective. Money may be tight, but even I have had my full share of Ramen Noodles in my life. You have to do what you have to do, and when you get there, you will be more of a man as a result of it.
