suicide is never the right answer. You’ll just end up hurting more people :S and trust me every bodies family sucks :S you’d should hear some of my family horror stories lol. Also there is people out there who can help you - you just need to find them!!! tell them that you do need help and that they are wrong. Tell them exactly how you are feeling etc …

Yes Ditzy is right, find people around you who listen. Try to make friends where you can go to when **** gets rough at your family. Everybody needs a time out from home
omce and a while.

Ditzy in all due respects not everones family sucks,, in my case its totaly insane and if the authorities knew what was going on they would be taking my brother to a hospitol.. He is violent and terrorizes them, no exageration.. As for finding someone to help me I tried for years and made all kinds of pleas for help and nobody listens or takes me serious.. I dont know what else I could do..

I know that there can be a need to break with your family. I had to do it too.
Other reasons, but sometimes it is the only way to continue in life.

It is very hard though. Disconnecting from your roots isn’t easily done.

About your untreated bipolar, can you explain me why you can’t visit your doctor and/or a therapist?

Well because I was ill all of my life I couldnt work, and was put on disability.. I could barely eat more then some apples and fruit everyday and am going into debt by the tens of thousands.. So affording a doctor or a thearipist isnt in my future.. So I rely on mental health who flately rejected me despite my plea for help..

lol yep - sounds familiar. My mother is a crazy psycho ***** who manipulates everything any body says. She is currently self harming - on her 2nd marriage. Married to a drunk only 9 weeks and already is talk about divorce. She drove my Dad to be an alcoholic (who we all hated coz mother made him look like the bad party - yay for manipulation) my sister and I were always fighting, my other sister was stealing and my brother is a weed/pot user. Trust me families are crazy. Nobodies is perfect.

Also if your brother is that bad maybe he would be better off in a hospital. If you wanted to get better you would find the help. Tell your pastor he is wrong - tell them everything. It sounds like the authorities dont know half the story. Hope the Christian dude emails you back. Do what ever you need to do to get help. Scream if needs be. Some times people can be wrong - you need to prove that to them

That looks like it will be a very good link, and it seemed that one could have the first counseltation for no charge.

Hang in there…. I believe that there are always answers to lifes perplexing problems, if we just keep asking questions, sooner or later, we will find the answers we need.

The computer will pull up lots of information on any subject that you type in, and for many situations, there are message boards that deal with each specific subject, like dysfunctional families, bi- polar, loneliness, abuse, verbal abuse, toxic relationships, emotional well being, etc. the links are endless, and you are never alone. There are resources avialble today, for anything that we may face.
