Well it may be because there is no paintings or plants or rugs or something to make the room more appealing.
Also, even when you have the mode to have sims on free will, that doesn’t mean that they will still do everything that is needed to be done, will get done. You will have to tell them to pay the bills.

Though I made sure in this house, that I did put more paintings. I also have plants and things like that. Mostly anything in the decoration section. I had less in my other houses, and their environment was bad, yeah, but not rock bottom.

I have all expansion packs up to Free Time, (including Free Time), which I think is all. I have no stuff packs though.

Yeah, stuff packs are a pain in the butt. I too, also have all packs up to free time, including free time. Which is why I think maybe your sims like art so they need more enviroment, Also make sure the house is clean.

Ahh. I like to see progress, okay? I do play with them, and I find it extremly fun. Sometimes I have to leave them alone. I love to play with them for about 2 hours a day, then I have to leave them alone because it’s just way to time consuming. And..as Mary-Chan said, I’m doing a legacy.

In freetime sims get hobbies, and some like different things. So some may like creativity which involves art and so that may affect the enviroment.
