My computer is frozen, I can not access anything internet related.

If I click on the internet, the hourglass pops up and disappears without connecting me, however it sounds like it is starting up. I have an activate desktop recovery pop up however this will not work. I am on a very limited budget so any advice is helpful.

Download a new browser like Foxfire or Opera. That way you can check to see if its your settings or just the browser. You may just need to reinstanl you browser.
