Feel help: I need a pill that will make me feel pleasantly optimistic all the time. - Help.com

I need a pill that will make me feel pleasantly optimistic all the time.

And, oh, it would be nice if it also suppressed my appetite and helped me sleep. Is there such a thing?

One pill makes you taller, one pill makes you small, and the one’s that mother gives you don’t do anything at all. If you think you can do a thing or think you can’t do a thing, you’re right.

Yeah, they’re called magic beans.

Why not try to tackle the issues behind these wants as opposed to look for a solution in a pill?

This is a funny answer because this is how magic pills are obtained. You pay your doctor to write you a perscription, he/she usually has samples and incentives for you to use a certain brand (they get all kinds of perks from drug companies:). Just the right one for you, everyone is happy because you pay the money, you take the trip, you have to go back to be monitored and there are always little side effects that keeps everybody in business:):):):)

That wasn’t the sort of professional help I was referring too. I mean’t professional help like a life coach, someone you can talk to.

well in my point of view everything you need to be happy is inside of you , being optimistic and stuff that’s all inside of you…

It’s so funny that people are reacting to me as if I’m suicidal. Wouldn’t I be talking about a different kind of pill if that were the case?

I suppose the thinking is that if someone is reaching out for a pill that would make all their problems go away they aren’t in a very strong (or happy) place.

Are they wrong?

“Not in a strong place” is quite different from suicidal though. I was just surprised that a little distress was construed to such an extreme. I guess it’s better to be safe than sorry though when it’s the internet. I have a fourteen year old niece who is quite troubled and I suppose I would feel better if she got the suicide hotline in her first reply if she left a cry for help, no matter how mild or wry. Just to be safe.

Really folks, I’m not jumping off any bridges. Just a little tired of the fight today.

….(still wish there was a pill though)

A life coach, LMFAO:) Why would I need a coach that if the coach was successful, would be managing their own life instead of my business:):):):) LOL:)!

So what/why would vitamin B do to what?? Seriously, I know it is used to give someone energy if taken in large doses, like that 5hr energy drink. But to help your mood??
