I am honorably discharged veteran, i filed for divorce

after finding out my wife was cheating on me, she didnt show up for court , i got full custody and she owes over 15 thousand in back child support. Even after all that i felt it was right for my daughter to have a relationship with her mother, so this summer she went to see her mom, it has been 5-6 years, now she refuses to return my daughter! dead beat mother doesnt have the same ring as dead beat dad!

There’s no shortage of deadbeat moms out there. Can you go physically GET your daughter and bring her home?

If you have full custody and she owes child support, can’t you apply to the courts ?

if your ex refuses to give your daughter back.. that is violation of a court order. you need to go back to court and apply for a violation of a court order. not only that, i believe she can get in trouble for some kind of kidnapping charge if you press the issue.

I agree with what the others said.

If it is your legal right, take action on it. Go get your kid!

May I just ask why you stated that you are a honorably discharged veteran?
It has nothing to do with the matter (as far as I can see) and we couldn’t care less about WHAT you are. It is about WHO you are. =)
