I just need to type this out.

I realize that everybody wants to find their place in the world, or at least a purpose, or a group of friends that engenders a sense of belonging, but all my experience so far has instilled in me a feeling that I will never have that sense and will never find my niche.

What you need to do is suck it up and keep things in perspective. Just be glad you didn’t grow up in some place where you faced disease and starvation as your everyday reality.

Maybe you should get out of your head and stop thinking so much. Introspection can become a vicious cycle.
