I’ve come across my car having some issues and am looking for some helpful advice before I take it to a mechanic.

I have a 2000 Honda Accord, automatic transmission, and it has been sputtering as I accelerate from a stop or from a slow speed. It feels like it is having trouble going from one gear to the next. The sputtering lasts until I take my foot off the gas and proceed a little slower. I am not flooring it and am concerned because my check engine light has come and stayed on. I’ve heard that it may be one or a combination of several things…dirty fuel injectors, transmission, clogged air filter…? Any ideas?

Take it to a local Technical College - they will give it a full lookover for free and tell you what is wrong with it - Mas
