Unfortunately, you haven’t provided alot of information. I am assuming your email is online, what site was it? Have you tried installing the add-ons and going back to the site? Have you seen this behavior before?

Whoa! it didn’t finish downloading all the way ?! when it crashed, did it say something about a corrupted file or a sharing violation?

If so, try this:

Go to the site to download
When it asks to save or open the file, save the file as.
Once you have downloaded the update.

Go to start menu
Settings
Control panel
Add/remove software
Uninstall the browser

Reinstall the browser.
Reboot.

If so … there is a built-in system restore program. In which case, if everything else fails, we can just rollback to a time when it did work.

Well for starters you need to remove some of the virus programs that you have installed (McCaffe, Norton, AVG). The reason why is because your computer tends to mess up if you have more than 1 virus scanner or firewall installed.

Have you tried removing Firefox and the reinstalling it again. If you click the Control Panel, which should be on the Start menu when you click it and then click “Add Remove Programs”. You will then be given a list of different applications where you should find Firefox. Click the Firefox icon/title in the list and then click uninstall (that’s if it is in the list.

Once you ahve done that try reinstalling the application again. I haven’t tried Firefox3 yet but I know that Firefox 2 is really good and I haven’t had any problems with it (well.. not many)

Let me know if it works. If it doesn’t then we can try something else.

Hello - you have too many security programmes but before you do anything run a full AVG scan if you dont know how just shout me. Then you have to start removing these conflicting security packages as they are literally kicking things out. Start with AVG then you will be sure that you dont have a rogue virus - doubtful with the amount of security you are running but stranger things have happened. Also you may want to shout the Clue - perfect instructions laid out beautifully there is no-one like the Clue for taking you through a process like this - Mas
