Have you ever heard the phrase “There is light at the end of the tunnel” from your parents? Well I have. Actually, umpteen times. Strange as this might seem, this quote seems to define us. Our family always has a new adventure every day. Its not the adventure you might be thinking about. Adventure as in situations that always seems to come up. Every day a new dilemma seems to emerge out of the blue and just like my typical parents, they rush into action like those superheros in those comic books. Looking at them makes you exhausted and fatigued even when you did not do anything to aid them. Have you ever took a second to look at your parents when their stress level has sky-rocketed and their whole world seems to be crashing before their eyes? If you look close enough, you see your reflection. You begin to question yourself if you are going to turn out like them or say to yourself, Is their any way I can help them? or I wonder how it feels to be in there shoes? The answer is yes. Yes, you can help them. You can give them a hug or just say what I always say, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Everything is going to be alright. This might not eliminate all the suffering, but it’s a start. On the other hand, everything always has a positive side even when it’s difficult to see. Our adventures might irritate me, but it also keeps our family together. We know we can count on each other when we need to talk or be reassured. We are blessed, even though my parents are going through a bumpy tunnel. We just need hope, family, and love to get us through.
We all have our own situations.
It just takes time.
