Where were you?
You can also watch events on Help.com as they happen
You live a sheltered life.
But that’s okay, the world needs people like you.
Are you christian?

Great to see someone keeping in spirit of today’s holiday. Happy Fourth of July!
Happy Fourth of July!!!
:D
its ok sai_pie, I think fdsafjdakljdkl forgot that today is a holiday for Americans, its ok to be patriotic for your country on a holiday designated for it. I think their the one thats sheltered if they don’t even know what today is! You don’t have to be a christian to celebrate the fourth of july! *eyeroll*

AND I for one do not think it is a sheltered life to feel pride in one’s country of origin, no matter what day it is. Today is a special day for American’s yes, but every day under the red white and blue is a good day whether we’re Christian, Jewish, Islam, Pagan, Atheist! I’m NOT saying America is better, no… just good to be here.

I completely agree, any day is a day for being patriotic for any country you are from no matter what religion you are or are not. I was trying to explain why sai_pie would be making this statement on this paticular day, since they are obviously american, and since the above commenters seemed to not understand why Sai_pie is saying this! :)
Yay! Happy 4th! We don’t get to have the fireworks out this way because of the fires. I miss the Boston Pops and the backyard fizzling sticks, but still a celebration!

Its the same with where I live ames. The fire alert is always on high it seems during summer, and we have’nt had a lot of rain recently. I miss being able to go see big fire works displays.
Wow …a dry summer its been most places. I just picked up a National Geographic and on the cover is a photo of trees burning - “Wildfire - Why the West is Burning” Its too bad since I do enjoy the celebrations. I was very close to 2 of the fires and my brother had to evacuate with one of them.
At any rate I will watch the Boston Pops! :) I remember going back east every summer to visit family and childhood friends - one time arriving on the 4th of July in Boston. From the plane I could see a spectacular display of fireworks.
Sweet, thanks ames, for the fireworks. It put a smile on my face and made my fourth of july that much better. :)
that was a great one, Ames! Happy New Year! Errr … “Fourth!”
