You can never please everyone all the time. You gave a good apology, if they don’t accept it, then it becomes their problem, not yours. Calm yourself down, wash your face, then when you feel like it, come back and chat to people. It will be fine.

The fact that you’re getting angry is a good sign: it means that you’re aware that you tried your hardest at forgiveness. It’s understandable that you want an outcome: but that’s in their domain, not yours. It’s not your fault if you already tried your best, and, as sad as it is to say this, some people just can’t forgive and forget. It’s good that you want to rise above this. Let them rag on you all they want. Don’t reply. You’ve already done everything that you need to do. They’re trying to provoke you. If they want to scream their throats raw, let them. You are stronger then they are and you don’t need to sink to their level for entertainment.
