I know you’re hurt but I think you ought to let this one go- as in, let them be together. You’ll find someone else, and ninth grade romances never last anyways, its not worth losing a good friend over.

Well, from my standpoint, this is natural. It’s normal to be jealous this way, but what I recommend is that if this goes any farther, cut it off and ask about how HE feels and whether it will work.
First offense: Keep watch
Second offense: Talk with him
Third offense: You tried, but he’s lost.

That happens to me a lot with my friends and the ONE GUY I LIKED FOREVER. lol. I just learned to let it slide. What made me get over it was one day I seen my bff hug the guy I liked since like 2nd grade. (in 9th grade now) and I was extremely jealous and she came over smiling and all happy and to me it seemed like she was trying to rub it in. So I acted all happy for her so she would think I didnt care and she would stop trying to rub it in my face. (And she did) And I just went and started talking to him. So when I get jealous over a guy. I go talk to that guy so I feel special and that gives me a reason not to be jealous…I try to talk to him as much as possible without seeming like im obssessed over him or like im a stalker. Just do that too. Its like you guys are sharing him, afterall he doesnt belong to your best friend. Just when he makes you jealous, just talk to him. Compliment him to get the convo started…Like. Hey cute shoes, where did you get them…He tells you…you say oh ok. i might buy some…lala. (Only if they are shoes both male and female would wear) Then simply change the topic…And have a short convo until you feel good for talking to him.
