Since you’re only making $60 a week my first gesture of help would be to advise you to get a better paying job, or take on a second job. $60 a week is way less than minimum wage. You’ve got to pull your own weight before you can expect people to help you.

i don’t have a car and am babysitting to make that much. there are no other jobs available in town. I’ve tried. there are only two convenience stores in town, and they are in excess of employees. HELP!

Do you have public transportation you can take to a neighboring town that has jobs? If not, can you move in with your family in another city where there is jobs?

i’m taking classes right now so i can raise my gpa so i can get on the cross country team and get a scholarship for it. i am in such a small town that there isn’t public transportation period. i was gonna buy a bike so i could ride the 10 miles, but i didn’t have the money. my family lives two hours from my college. it’s the cheapest college that’s close.

I mean like welfare. Your county has public assistance programs, different ones to meet different situations. Food stamps, rent assistance, etc.

i live in a different state than what my permanent address is. i don’t think i can get assistance from either of the states because of that.

Sure you can. Go to the public assistance office for your county and they’ll show you your options.
