alright i have 2 ?

s. im a dancer- since i was like 8 or 9. i do tap, jazz, and hip hop.my dance teacher keeps telling me each year that im good enough to be in competition but she never puts me in it. what should i do? and also…i know im a really good dancer - everyone tells me that so should i try to do lyrical/ballet this year? i’ve been dancing for 5 years.

Did you ask her straight-out to put you in a competition? It could be that she somehow got the impression you aren’t interested. It could be something you said a year ago, or something your parents said, or maybe she thinks it will cost too much money or be too much of a strain on your other activities, but you need to find out why she thinks this. If you know, you may convince her that you really want to do the competition. If you don’t ask however, she’ll never change her mind..
