haven’t check websites, but a great book that details a study of the subject is Stanley Milgram’s “Obedience to Authority.”

actually, I couldn’t find any psychology links on that page, although there were some philosophy links.
B, I’ll be interested in what you find out — I often wonder if psychologists are for or against conformity and obedience? But that’s a whole other question…
