Internet help: can not get connected to internet. - Help.com

can not get connected to internet.

Aol has dropped my dial-up and all it has is broadband and I don’t have that so i can not connect. This is my sister’s problem and i am trying to help her since she cannot get on line and aol has not helped her connect. It tells her to plug in phone line and it is plugged in. Does anyone know what is wrong?

aol tells her to contact Dell for a modem driver. Why?. They have not even tried to get her connected
