Go to all local churches, County Assistance Office for emergency assistance. They may help with vehicle & repair, rent, child care, food, etc (especially if you have an eviction notice), Community Action Centers, Men’s shelters, Womans shelters, Salvation Army, Red Cross. They all should be able to help with something until your needs are met, they can also provide you with a list of other help centers. Call directory assistance to see if there is a Link Up in the area. Go to or call all of the food pantries also, they will have information on who can help.

you can go thru the phone book and ask every church in there if they will help its called a love offereing.. or go to the trusteess.. or you can yes go to a check cashing place… or prioritize.. i went to food pantries for 2 weeks and saved my checks without paying for food out of pocket and you wouldnt believe how muych money you willhave….

hello my name is lizbeth and i need help on paying my rent im about to move to Delaware and i applyed for this apartment becasue i was told that united way was going to help me but i turned out that they cant because im realy from PA and they say that they cant help me becasue its another state so they srow me over because im a student in De and the only one making the money is my husbaned he only get like 10.25 an hour and i have a son that is 20 months and im pregnet 3 months i have sometimes no food to eat and i have to get out from where i live in pa because the landlord is my father in law but he wants like 600 a month for a half a room and no heat cause he is so cheap and no cable no nothing and i just cant go another year with out heat and this new place down in DE it’s free heat free hot water etc its just perfect but i’m not going to be able to afford it its 750 a month so is there any body out there that can help me please please do so -lizbeth

well my boyfriend works unhuman hours to make ends meet we are living on credit card did you e-mail oprah, or warren buffet, bill gates, did you apply for a credit card, is there social assistance in you area, food banks, the church will probably help, Dr. phil, please don’t give up I cried when I hear people commiting suicide I am going to work on this because it’s happening to much when the recession hit it’s stapped every average person. To whom it may concern, I have a friend who is going to get evicted Friday March 13, 2009 she needs $400.00 and it will save her apartment. She does not have to collect child support from anyone just needs the help we have went and tried every where she is very stressed about this and needs some relief please let me know if you are able to help

My friend is also going to need shoulder surgery which noone will do from an accident she was in same friend who is being evicted she could really use $500.00 instead of the $400.00 she needs to by food as well she hasn’t eaten in 3 days

hello my name is Jane I’m behind on rent for three month. My husband works but right now just don’t get many hours. but summer coming things will get better. Please help my phone will be cut off tomorrow. To everyone out there hold your head up high don’t let it down. One more thing we have tried every where to get a loan no one will help because we have no credit. Or your credit been check to much. No one cares anymore. We are living on my husbands disability check and god knows it is not even enough to get by. If someone out that can help it is needed in my house. Looks like there are a lot of people in the same boat with me! I need to pay my rent by tomorrow (5/20) or face eviction. I paid part of it, but now the rest is due - $1100. I have tried payday loans, with no luck. Apparently, I don’t make enough to pay back the loan. I have been unemployed for over 8 months now, but I do receive child support, unemployment and I work part time, but the lenders only consider my paycheck.
If any one knows anywhere I can get help (I am near Dallas, TX) or if someone is willing to help out, I would GREATLY appreciate it. I can pay back over time.
I just need to get onto a level playing field.

hey i am a mother of a three year old and i just moved to idaho about two months ago, and am in the process of loosing my house due to just quitting my job because of depression and post trematic stress syndrome my husband is a longhaul truck driver who has had to take off work due to my condition he is hopefully going to be able to go back to work next week hes been off for the last month helping me he lost his job due to this his work would not allow to come to take me to a hospital my husband had to leave his truck and had to find a way home to get me the help i need also are son had medical problems due to all that has accord we are going to lose are house we need help are rent is 600.00. I was also admitted into a hospital because of my suicide conditions. I am now taking medication for my condition and am starting to get through every day of life. Please help us I do not know what to do. Thanks.
