DOG help: I have a one year old female american bulldog, she is about 90lbs. - Help.com

I have a one year old female american bulldog, she is about 90lbs.

When she was about 6 months old, we took her into the vet due to urinating blood, and frequent urination.. they gave her antibiotics, it went away for about two months and came back. We took her to the emergency the second time and again she received antibiotics which cured it temporarily, This is the third time in less than a year that she has urinated blood. This problem is costing us a lot, and doesn’t seem to go away, please help… What is going on with my dog???

I know that I’ve had a similar problem with my boxer/pit bull mix and they have told me that she may have female organ problems. I am unsure the process they go about to diagnose this problem, but I would go back to the vet and demand some answers. Explain this has happened twice and that you would like something other than medicine that only works temporarily. Tell tham that you need an answer as to why it keeps happening and how to correct it. They will take it a lot more serious if you stand up to them and demand an answer.
