Lately I have been so unmotivated when it comes to just about everything i.e cooking, taking a shower, eating, brushing my teeth, etc.
Does anybody have any ideas on how to improve this area of my life?

You are not alone - why do you think this may be happening - the reason? - Mas
usually this happens when your life has no surprises and it becomes to predictable
so you lose interest in it
its just one day after another
you just have to add some spice in your life
maybe your lonely
or just bored
but you just have to be more unpredictable
Stand_alone has a point but I have a funny feeling that isnt your problem. Small example - I didnt clean anything in my house for the whole of January and taking a shower was a task, washing my hair - nope - wore a baseball cap instead. Kind of watched it all fall to pieces around me - is that kind of where you are at right now? - Mas
Usually this happens when there is an underlying problem/event that is left unresolved. Think about it– is anything bothering you. if so, its understandable to focus on that, rather than everyday routines.
Kayla has the right question Anon - thing is can you be bothered answering it? Not joking if you have gotten that far down you may just be sitting looking at it - I know this - I’ve been there - Mas
well, don;t jump to the conclusion of being depressed. Have you been like this for a while? Sometimes we all just need to deal with certain things before we can let them go. It doen’t mean that your depressed/ Is there anything that happened recently that just doesnt sit well with you?

Well maybe you have to take a long look in the mirror and ask yourself this - is it my brother’s girl that I’m attracted to - or is it the idea of finding someone I love who loves me back equally? Maybe your brother has dug up an emotion that hasnt stirred for a while - it can be known as envy and jealousy but in the real world it’s known as - what your heart is missing. So how are you going to go about finding what your heart is missing? I think we both know it isnt your brother’s bride - but it’s the concept of being unconditionally loved - is that what is missing? -Mas

OK - now we have progress and I bet your mouth feels better - so what is the thing you want to do next but just cannot be arsed to get up and do - go on - what is the next thing - tell me - I am a born sloth - I understand you - spill the beans - in an ideal world what would your next action be? - Mas
I know it sounds silly, but I just haven’t been able to get up the motivation to eat in days.
I know that one - but I also know the dizzy feeling that goes hand in hand with it. When you dont prepare a proper meal, and it gets worse as you get hungrier so this has to stop - OK? Do you have a potato you can bake in the microwave - plain old potato - stick holes in it with a fork - let it cook for about 8-10 mins and shove some butter and if you can be bothered grated cheese on top - have you got a potato?
OK - let’s do it the sensible way - what is in your kitchen right now - anything - no matter how ridiculous?
I have cereal, bread, a box of mac and cheese, pop tarts, some frozen peas, and that’s all that comes to mind off the top of my head.
Well got to say go for the simple option - pop a Pop Tart in the toaster and then - oh no - yes - i really mean it - eat it - dont care if you eat it while we are talking here but you need to eat - or else nothing works, not your brain, legs, eyes, nothing works if you dont eat. So what you going to do - it’s that or the Mac n Cheese - your choice - I will not sleep until you eat. - Mas p.s. sorry about delay but messages are not posting for like 12-14 minutes in the UK
Ehhhhhhhh - I’m kind of believing you but if you havent done anything in days - who bought the pop-tart? - Sorry got to be suspicious but I am very guilty of not eating when stressed and even worse I actually ignore edible food. Yes I can look in the fridge and there is bread and ham and cheese, whatever and I cant see myself making it. Have you really even touched a pop-tart - I’d be glad if you have but not suprised if you havent - Mas p.s. remember I’m thousands of miles away - we can just tell the truth ok
OK then we have to go more basic any crackers lying around - plain old boring, left from last Xmas crackers - if you cant find them I’m going to make you put the mac n cheese and peas together (yummy) so get back to me - Watching you - Mas

Well when you look back at this it will probably be clearer to you. Thing is right now - I know all about this not eating, showering, brush teeth thing and the longer it goes on the worse it gets we need to stop it - can I help you do that?
Without food you are going to lack the very energy that you need to start recovering - we need to get some food into you - do you live alone?
